Position Title: Business Information Security Officer (BISO)

Location:Dallas, TX area

Salary: $120k-160k

Overview:We are actively seeking a qualified Business Information Security Officer (BISO) to join our team in Addison, TX. The BISO will play a pivotal role in ensuring the security and integrity of our business information systems. This position requires a candidate with exceptional communication skills, a strong IT background, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the development and implementation of robust information security policies and procedures to protect our organization's data and systems.
• Utilize prior experience in Managed Service Provider (MSP) or Managed Security Service Provider (MSSP) roles to oversee security for multiple clients effectively.
• Leverage a solid IT background to assess and address security risks, vulnerabilities, and threats.
• Demonstrate exceptional communication abilities and executive presence when interacting with internal stakeholders and executive leadership.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security best practices into business processes and systems.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for all security-related inquiries and incidents, ensuring prompt and effective response and resolution.
• Stay informed about the latest security trends, technologies, and threats, and provide recommendations for enhancing our security posture.
• Exhibit high levels of energy, determination, and adaptability to effectively handle multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.
• Drive self-motivation and excel in a fast-paced working environment.

Qualifications:

• Mandatory CISSP certification or an equivalent credential.
• Previous experience in similar roles within MSP or MSSP environments, or overseeing security for multiple clients.
• Strong IT background and skills, with proficiency in networking, operating systems, and security technologies.
• Desirable qualification of a bachelor's degree in computer science or related field.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• High levels of energy, determination, and adaptability to succeed in a dynamic environment.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and adapt swiftly to changing circumstances.
• Self-motivated with a track record of excelling in fast-paced working environments.
