PROGRAM MANAGER - TECHNICAL (ITP):

Bowhead is seeking a highly experienced Program Manager - Technical to manage a large and complex IT program in the Washington, DC/Northern Virginia region.

This is a fast paced job managing subject matter experts and IT professionals advising executive level personnel on financial, technical, and other high-level policy areas.

Responsibilities

Responsible for the operational planning, establishment, execution, and evaluation of a multifaceted program/project typically consisting of a set of closely related subprograms or associated activities
Oversees fiscal, operational, administrative, and human resources management of the program
Have an understanding and experience with large complex IT projects and organizations
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications


Education:
Master's Degree or Equivalent

Years of experience: 10+

Required skills or certifications:
Project Management Professional (PMP)
Intermediate to advanced level skills in Microsoft Office software suite - Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint
Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of employees and outside contacts
Strong interpersonal skills and good judgment with the ability to work alone or as part of a team

Physical Demands:
Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds
Must be able to stand and walk for prolonged amounts of time
Must be able to twist, bend and squat periodically


SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS:
Must currently hold a security clearance at the Secret level. US Citizenship is a requirement for Secret clearance at this location.
