    Hardware Engineer IV (Design Verification Engineer IV)

    Location:
    Redmond, WA
    Job Term: 12 months contract with possibility of extension (on W2)

    Must-Have Skills:

    Proven experience in designing verification test requirements within consumer electronic devicesPython experience and experience with test equipment and measurement techniques to verify and validate product requirementsProject management skills: able to track and communicate to all partners (research team, vendors, directors)Nice-to-have SkillsExperience working with Qualcomm chipsets for mobile applicationsExperience with Python testing frameworks (unittest, pytest, OpenHTF, etc.)Experience with automating Data Acquisition (DAQ) systems (LabJack, National Instruments DAQmx, DEWESoft, etc.)Minimum QualificationsBachelor's Degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, a related technical field or equivalent work experience.5+ years of experience in system-level testing, hardware testing, and software test tool development.

    Experience with test equipment and measurement techniques to verify and validate product requirements.

    Proficiency in Python with familiarity of best practices (linting, typing, unit testing, etc.)Project management skills to track and communicate status of all project work.

    Experience using version control (SVN, Git, hg, etc.).

    ResponsibilitiesVendor shall perform development work for our client's Research hardware projects, including:
    Create a Manufacturing Test plan for program builds.

    Collaborate with the research hardware team and external CM/JDM vendors to create a test plan, which sets design verification test requirements and deliverables.

    Track the design verification program schedule, set milestones, and identify risks with mitigation plans to meet program needs.
    Analyze/review test data + design validation data and evaluate with the design team.

    Work with CM/JDM to monitor the readiness of manufacturing test fixtures during the build phases and integrate schedules with the overall project schedule.

    Collaborate with Manufacturing Test, ME, EE, OE, and System Software teams to identify test requirements and milestones and communicate with the program team.

    Ensure technical coordination between the internal hardware team and CMs/JDMs and align requirements and deliverables.
    Mitigate schedule risks and drive integration to align with the overall project schedule.

    Develop new capabilities to enable analysis of test data, providing a clear view of system level performance against product KPI's.
