- Juris Doctor from an accredited law school and active membership in good standing in at least one state bar.
- 5+ years of legal experience
- Written and verbal fluency in Spanish
- Experience supporting technology and e-commerce businesses.
- Outstanding legal and business judgment; strong organizational, project management, drafting, negotiation, analytical, and leadership skills.
- Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment and deliver results.
- High degree of independence, initiative, decisiveness, and creative thinking, as well as a desire to be challenged.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and the ability to be a partner to business stakeholders.
- In-house experience at a technology company.

We are looking for a talented and experienced attorney to support Amazon Books. Our work is intellectually challenging, exciting, and fast-paced. Developing innovative solutions to novel legal questions is part of our daily work.
You will serve as the primary lawyer responsible for counseling the businesses on a broad range of legal areas, including physical and digital consumer products and services; privacy and other regulatory matters; and product launches.
Written and verbal fluency in Spanish is preferred. Some travel, both domestic and international, will be required.
