    Description
    • Assist in the implementation of inventory management database
    • Receive and sort incoming parts and supplies
    • Store items in an orderly and accessible manner in a warehouse, tool room, supply room or other area
    • Process incoming requisitions and issue or distribute parts and supplies for internal usage
    • Maintain records of orders and the amount, kind, and location of parts and supplies on hand using computerized inventory system
    • Conduct daily, weekly, monthly, and annual cycle counts parts per day, recording results and making inventory adjustments as needed to off-line/online database or SAP (once implemented), to identify items to be reordered or replenished
    • Prepare requisition orders to replenish parts and supplies
    • Manage spare and replacement parts for vehicles, machinery, facility, and other equipment
    • Advise planners, production personnel or internal users on appropriateness of parts, supplies or materials requested
    • Pack or ship inventory or maintenance and repair parts to destination
    • Compare inbound packing slips or invoices to items actually received to ensure that shipments are correct
    • Receive and fill orders for parts
    • Examine and segregate returned parts for defects, and notify relevant internal department for disposition
    • Annual obsolescence review with disposition of parts as needed (coordinated with Finance)
    • Moderate to frequent travel within AM-N
    Qualifications

    Work experience requirements:
    • Previous work-related skill, knowledge or experience may be helpful but not required
    • Knowledge of health and safety procedures, standards, and regulations, customer service, basic mathematics, administrative process.
    • Ability to complete and/or read product labels, shelving labels, warning and direction signs, inventory sheets, invoices, order forms, shipping forms, packing slips, bills of lading, work schedules, etc.
    • Ability to enter information on tables, schedules or other table-like text.
    Education Requirements:

    High school diploma or GED, intermediate Excel skills, SAP preferred, good oral and written communication skills
