Description
Be advised that there can be delays of up to 3 weeks for ARClient to provide an update re; approval to onboard clinicians for per diem support.
RN may float to other Units to assist if neededPer Diem:
Ability to work weekdays & weekends - no weekly guarantee
COVID Vaccination & Booster encouraged, but declinations accepted & may be covid tested 2x/week at traveler/agency cost
POSITION DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Write initial nursing histories, assess patients' conditions, develop individual care plans, and evaluate outcomes of patient care according to accepted standards of practice; consult with other specialists as required and adjust nursing care process as necessary.
Administer and document medications with a thorough knowledge of types, dosages, drug interactions and incompatibilities.
Practice safety measures in all activities associated with patient care.
Support the mission and vision of ARClient. Consistently practice excellent customer service.
Teach, delegate, and direct both professional and non-professional nursing staff and interpret the needs of each patient to all persons participating in patient care.
Participate in the development of nursing policies and procedures and Quality Assurance activities. Follow all Nursing Departmental and Administrative Operations manual policies and procedures.
Serve as patient advocate.
Attend department in-services and staff development programs.
Initiate emergency measures such as Code Blue and Code Red.
Maintain and protect all patients rights to privacy and confidentiality.
Perform related duties as assigned or requested.
SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS
2+ years of current ER experience - Required
EPIC experience - strongly preferred
By submitting your Clinician, you attest that your Clinician will obtain the MAB certificate compliant with AB508 prior to start
Previous travel - strongly encouraged
at LEAST 1 year of straight FTE in an Acute Hospital/Medical Center - required
