Responsibilities

• Patient Registration including Patient Identification verification enter patient demographics insurance information guarantor PCP ordering provider order tests enter diagnostic codes ordering provider following established policies procedures patient identification verification registration test orders medical necessity document scanning Manage Advanced Beneficiary Notice ABNSN obtaining supporting diagnostic codes document review patient signature document management scanning Performs related clerical activities medical necessity follow-up sorts files records daily checklists answering phones report delivery receiving patient clinical treatment area monitors standing orders expiration renewals confirming tasks followed completion Provides patient forms test gives instructions special preparation necessary prior specimen collection test appointment May contact additional information complete records Monitors Workbrain for phlebotomists Reviews Kronos reports manager monitor overtime badging patterns Reviews timekeeping records entry hours attendance regular basis Reports incidents missing start end times consistent early late badging Under direction
