We're partnered with a well-established biotech which focused on driving innovation of molecular biology research tools in support of biotech, academic institutions, and government labs.

They are seeking a talented and experienced Business Development Director who will be leading in a pivotal role in driving commercial success of microbiology-focused products.

This multi-disciplinary role will involve business development, sales, and marketing and lead a high-performing team.
Responsibilities
Develop and oversee strategize across commercialization to meet deliverables, while conducting market analysis and identifying trends and new opportunities
Set revenue targets and manage the overall product portfolio, including managing the business unit to high-performance
Provide guidance on marketing and sales initiatives, collaborate with 3rd party marketing resources, and partner closely with technical staff, key opinion leaders, and marketing staff
Identify prospects, product development opportunities, and trends to explore and execute as part of greater business development strategy
Qualifications
Bachelor's or Master's Degree in life science, marketing, or business with over 7 years of demonstrated success in commercial, business, sales, and marketing teams
Preferable to have a background in biology, microbiology or other related life science disciplines
Experienced sales/business development manager, managing high-performing teams - with a track record of exceeding revenue targets
