- Develop and implement robust internal controls for accounting transactions and budgetary processes.
- Ensure timely state and local tax reporting and compliance.
- Collaborate seamlessly with external auditors to facilitate annual audits.
- Proactively identify opportunities for financial optimization and process enhancement.
- Deliver insightful ad-hoc financial analysis to support strategic decision-making.
- Impeccable attention to detail and a proven ability to thrive under pressure.
- Demonstrated expertise in project management and a passion for driving transformational change.
- Previous experience in the Recycling industry is highly advantageous.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts clearly.
- Outstanding organizational and time management abilities.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or equivalent software.
- Bachelors degree in accounting or business administration required.
- Eight to ten years of progressive experience in a related field.
- CPA designation preferred but not required.
