    Description
    We are seeking a Med/Surg RN, internally referred to as our Med/Tele RN at St John Hospital a member of Prime Healthcare. A dedicated nurse specializing in attending to patients within Med/Surg units, especially those needing cardiac monitoring. Our RN is instrumental in overseeing the safety, comfort, and overall well-being of individuals needing cardiac surveillance during their hospitalization. Shift's Available: DaysEmployment Type: Full TimeHours: 12hr ShiftsBonus Options: up to $20,000 (experience may be required) ** If you are a licensed Registered Nurse (RN), we're prepared to provide training to suitable candidates for this role. Newly graduated RNs are encouraged to apply. No experience needed, entry-level ** Before we go any further, we do have some deal-breakers. You must have:
    • Current and valid state RN License
    • Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintain current
    Essential Duties and Responsibilities (includes, but not limited to):
    • Assess patients' conditions, including vital signs, cardiac rhythms, and overall health status, to create individualized care plans
    • Monitor patients' cardiac rhythms and vital signs using telemetry equipment, which allows for remote monitoring of patients' heart rates and rhythms
    • Communicate with the physician about changes in the patient's clinical condition, including cardiac monitoring, results of diagnostic studies, and symptomatology
    • Administer medications as prescribed by physicians, including intravenous medications, and monitor patients for any adverse reactions
    • Provide hands-on care to patients, including wound care, administering treatments, assisting with activities of daily living, and providing emotional support
    It will be great if you also happen to have these qualifications but not required:
    • Current ACLS certificate 30 days upon hire and maintain current
    • Previous Acute Care hospital experience
    • Ventilator management experience
    • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
