    Job DescriptionWill perform machining operations in the manual grind classification as assignedEssential Duties and ResponsibilitiesOperate machining centers in the department (grinders)Operates ID, OD, Centerless and Surface GrindersLoad and adjust workpieces onto equipment or worktablesInteracts with other departments as needed, such as obtaining "First Piece" together with InspectorsChecks work as parts are produced by performing in-process inspections using a variety of measuring equipmentProduce parts by interpreting and understanding drawing requirementsMay perform specialty programming, setup, or leader operations as assignedRecord labor and other production information on Hour-by
    • Hour sheetsConduct operator level maintenance tasksFollows all safety and work rulesPerforms other duties as assignedRequirementsCritical CompetenciesDemonstrated mechanical aptitudeAbility to understand and follow work instructionsThis position is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).
