Job DescriptionWill perform machining operations in the manual grind classification as assignedEssential Duties and ResponsibilitiesOperate machining centers in the department (grinders)Operates ID, OD, Centerless and Surface GrindersLoad and adjust workpieces onto equipment or worktablesInteracts with other departments as needed, such as obtaining "First Piece" together with InspectorsChecks work as parts are produced by performing in-process inspections using a variety of measuring equipmentProduce parts by interpreting and understanding drawing requirementsMay perform specialty programming, setup, or leader operations as assignedRecord labor and other production information on Hour-byEducation and Experience RequirementsMust have a High School Diploma or equivalentAt least 2 years of experience in a manufacturing precision machining environmentPrior work experience with grinding is requiredProficient knowledge of GD&T and drawing reading skillsAbility to understand and follow work instructionsGood communication skills and teamwork are essentialPhysical Demand and Work Environment:
