This role is responsible to ensure OCI has reliable, scalable and affordable connectivity to some of our most critical regions on the network.

You will leverage your extensive experience in the networking space to drive resiliency in the network, deploy next generation infrastructure, and execute with speed in an ever changing business.

This role will report to the Sr Director of Connectivity within the Infrastructure Capacity Planning Organization and will lead a team responsible for:

Developing an annual metro network growth roadmap for North America
Leading a team who will design and source metro connectivity between OCI Data Centers and POPs in North America
Designing network connectivity that maximizes OCIs network resiliency and redundancy
Ensuring Network capacity is always available to support Oracle product and region launches, and to support cloud region growth
Driving data quality into all aspects of network capacity management
Developing strategic partnerships internally and externally to achieve all of the above
Evaluating existing assets for improvement or next generation architectural changes
Oversight or advising on ad-hoc strategic initiatives at the request of Oracle executive management
Regularly interacting across functional areas with senior management or executives to ensure unit objectives are met
Proactively communicating progress around workload and specific projects on a regular and timely basis
