    Roles and Responsibilities:

    The Technical Writer will be responsible for maintenance of operations documentation which includes applications and systems. The role also will be responsible for creating, delivering, and updating internal technical documentation for operations systems processes, procedures, user manuals and quick reference guides. They will also maintain accurate records and documentation for auditors to ensure the organization meets all relevant legal and compliance requirements.


    Qualifications and Education Requirements:


    Education:
    High School Diploma or Equivalent

    10+ years in technical writing

    Minimum Qualifications
    Creation of and updating of process maps, standard operating procedures and supporting documentation such as process documentation/workflows, reports, checklists, forms, knowledge articles and self-service guides
    Editing and standardizing format, order, clarity, conciseness, style and terminology to controlled documents provided by others to meet department standards and industry best practices
    Coordinating, tracking, reviewing and ensuring timely completion of high quality controlled documents (i.E. Process flows, procedures, reports, forms, specifications, protocols, etc.)
    Work closely with the product owners to ensure all documentation is accurate, up-to-date, and aligned with industry best practices
    Maintaining a periodic review process and following up with document owners to review their procedures, ensuring relevance and accuracy of process and initiating changes as required
    Ability to synthesize and communicate complex technical information in a clear and concise manner to both technical and non-technical audiences
    Excellent communication and interpersonal skills as well as a strong understanding of both technical and layperson writing styles
    Interact with disparate groups to gather and analyze user requirements while collaborating with all levels of employees on a daily basis.
    Proactively audit the system to improve efficiency and end-user ease of use.
    Experience using content management systems to organize and manage documentation. They should also be able to use graphics and multimedia tools to enhance the presentation of technical information
    Ability to pursue goals and objectives efficiently and effectively, understanding priorities and managing their own activities in line with department goals

    Must have a valid driver s license and current state required minimum vehicle insurance coverage to drive onto Client and Company property.

    Pay Range:

    The pay range for this position is $60.00-$65.00 per hour; however, the pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. This pay information is being provided pursuant to applicable law and is based in part on market location.
