You will leverage your skills and experience to be part of an innovative team and make a difference for our customers. As a Mechanical Engineering Intern in Richland, WA you'll be assigned a project commensurate with your educational background and interests to help deliver innovative solutions and value-added technologies to support the operation of the commercial nuclear fleet and prepare for the next generation of nuclear power plants. Your work will include assisting design engineers with drawings and specifications, design analyses, mechanical testing, and troubleshooting problems. Together we will enable clean, safe, and economical low-carbon energy to meet the global ambition for a better tomorrow.

Richland is located in the Columbia River basin in southeastern Washington a few hours east of Seattle. After work, the Richland, Kennewick, Pasco Tri-cities area offers a variety of water sports and fabulous fishing. A short drive puts you in the beautiful Cascade Mountains. Framatome's Richland, WA facility is a licensed nuclear fuel manufacturing site and complies with US Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) and US Department of Energy (DOE) regulations. This position is safety-sensitive and pre-employment drug/alcohol screening is required.

The range of base salary for the position is between $ $34.13 per hour, and may also include annual incentives, performance bonuses and benefits. Please note that the base salary range is a guideline, and individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies and work location.
