    Job Description Job Description Salary:
    Negotiable based on experienceDuties and responsibilities include:Manage all aspects of accounting for all divisions of DeCook Companies.

    Financial statements, general ledger, journal entries, payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable, billing, budgeting, tax compliance, revenue recognition, and various special analyses.

    Verify the accuracy of all job costs as well as the reconciliation of all subledgers to the general ledger (A/P, A/R, cash management, equipment, payroll).Oversee and assist with Payroll Taxes, Certified and Government Payroll Forms.

    Assist managers of all companies and advise on/oversee accounting procedures.
    Facilitate monthly financial meetings with all companies to provide financial analyses and advise on decision making.
    Monitor and develop internal controls to minimize financial risk and identify areas of opportunity to better safeguard assets.
    Debt management and collection.

    Develop actionable insights from technical and financial data, working to minimize risk and identify growth cash flow management, including forecasting cash flow needs.

    Oversee all payments made for debts, bank loans, and other large quantities of money.
    Prepare and organize financial statements for record, review, and submittal to the financial institutions.
    Manage the internal financial reporting process to facilitate straightforward year end preparation by external CPA firm.
    Create projections with different scenarios on the growth opportunities as needed and develop accounting policies, guidelines, and procedures.

    Oversee the AIA progress billing based upon specific contract terms and payment requisition percentages given by the respective project managers.

    Keep an organized filing system of all accounts, statements, transactions, payments, and debts.
    Define and implement operational best practices.
    Manage and perform other duties consistent with the roll of an accounting professional.


    Position requires:
    Full-time in person.
    BS in Accounting or Finance is desirable but will consider 5+ years of construction related accounting experience.
    QuickBooks Enterprise/ Pro Experience preferred.
    Microsoft Office Suite proficiency.
    The ability to communicate professionally, both verbally and in written form.
    Excellent prioritization and organizational skills.
    Attention to detail, accuracy, and efficiency.
    Ability to work well with senior executives and team.
    Exhibit strong leadership skills to mentor/lead other team members.
