Part-Time | Full-Time Opportunity Available
CULTURA is hiring an experienced Line Cook / Prep Cook — what we call a Taco Dealer.
We are a high-volume, fast-paced kitchen focused on prep, frying, and disciplined execution. We are not a "learn how to cook" environment — we're looking for someone who already has foundational kitchen experience and wants to sharpen it.
Pay & Growth
- Starting at $16/hour during trial period
- After successful trial period:
- Pay increases based on performance and experience
- Entry into tip pool
- Current tip average: $150–$200 per week
- Tip pool expected to increase as seasonal volume grows
We are willing to pay up to $20/hour for someone who proves they can handle volume, maintain standards, and operate with leadership-level consistency.
Performance determines pay.
Trial period must be successfully completed before pay increase and tip pool eligibility.
Schedule
- Shifts between 7:00 AM – 6:30 PM
- Daytime availability required
- Weekend availability preferred
Responsibilities
- Daily prep and knife work
- Frying proteins and sides to proper temperature
- Working a high-volume service line
- Maintaining a clean, organized station
- Following kitchen systems and food safety standards
- Assisting with POS/front counter when needed
Qualifications
- Previous kitchen experience required
- Prep cook + fryer experience preferred
- Basic knife skills required
- Fast food / QSR experience preferred
- POS familiarity preferred
- Reliable and punctual
- Able to stand for long periods and lift 30–50 lbs
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail
