- Develop and execute strategies to foster kingdom cultivation throughout the organization
- Research and recommend plans to promote diversity to executive leadership
- Create and manage programs that produce a healthy culture of belonging
- Provide training and education on Diversity and Belonging to employees, volunteers, and partners
- Incorporate biblical content in training and communication materials
- Research, implement, and monitor kingdom cultivation protocols and policies
- Collaborate with departments and provide guidance in kingdom cultivation initiatives
- Assist HR, Area Teams, and Global Internships with recruitment strategies in reaching all people with various cultural backgrounds and abilities
- Support Area Ministries in outreach efforts in underserved areas
- Teach Beyond Suffering and other courses developed by The Center to pastors, partners, and students
- Travel to colleges, churches, or conferences domestically and internationally
- Lead teaching presentations through online courses or conferences
- Advocate for kingdom cultivation and belonging with all Joni and Friends stakeholders
- Other duties and projects as assigned by supervisor to support department and organizational needs
- Must possess a vibrant personal relationship with Jesus Christ and agree with the Joni and Friends statement of faith
- Desire to serve in a growing and dynamic Christian service ministry
- 5+ years of senior management experience
- Master's Degree in Theology or equivalent knowledge and experience in leading Diversity and Belonging initiatives
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to effectively organize and prioritize a wide range of daily tasks with varied deadlines
- Detail-oriented and a flexible self-starter capable of working independently and with a team
- Understanding the importance of confidentiality is imperative
- Strong general computer skills are necessary along with a competent, working knowledge of Windows, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Outlook and the Internet
- Understanding of Christian ministry and specifically Joni and Friends is desirable

Under the supervision of the Senior Vice President, Impact & Leadership Development, support the overall objectives Joni and Friends through the Diversity & Belonging Initiative. Perform duties and responsibilities including, but not limited to:
Compensation for this position in the Agoura Hills area is $100,000 - $110,000 per year, and it may vary if the candidate is not located near Agoura Hills, CA. This can be a remote position.
