    Southeast Michigan Community Alliance (SEMCA) is recruiting talented professionals who want to contribute and make a difference in our southeast Michigan community Agency providing workforce development programs to residents in Wayne and Monroe counties, excluding the city of Detroit.

    SEMCA offers a competitive package to full-time employees who are eligible for benefits on the first day of hire including 12 annual holidays, 25 days accrued paid time off per year, and 6% employer match to 403(b) retirement plan

    Pay Range:
    $20 - $23 per hour with a competitive benefit package including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 403(b) retirement plan with 6% employer match, 12 paid holidays, and 30 days of paid time off.

    The Associate Data Analyst is responsible for consolidating, transforming, and modeling of data into charts, graphs, tables, and reports to be used by decision makers in developing strategies and goals.

    Assists the Data Analyst with the following activities:

    Condense large, often complex data into clear, concise, easy-to-understand observations
    Analyze large vlumes of data to look at performance, quality, and trending
    Prepare cmprehensive written reports, presentations, maps, or charts based on research, collection, and analysis of data
    Collaborate with decision makers by collecting, analyzing data and reporting results
    Consult with staff to effectively produce requested reports, analyze requirements, and convert specifications into computer code
    Assist in developing departmental policies to ensure compliance with State and Federal regulations
    Associate degree in computer science or equivalent experience
    Experienced with Microsoft Office Suite
    Proficient with Microsoft Excel including VLOOKUP function, pivot tables and formulas
    Ability to apply analytical techniques to a wide variety of data
    Ability to multi-task and prioritize multiple projects, deadlines and responsibilities
    Flexible and adaptable to fast paced, changing environments; Proficient at translating contractor's data requests into reports
    Proficient with SQL

    Duties require sufficient mobility to work in a normal office setting and use standard office equipment including a computer, vision to read printed materials on an LCD screen and smartphone, hearing, and speech sufficient to communicate in person and over the telephone.
