As General Counsel, you will be responsible for managing all legal matters for both startups, ensuring compliance with relevant laws, and safeguarding our intellectual properties.

Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of agreements including commercial contracts, partnership agreements, and vendor contracts.
Manage corporate governance for both companies, ensuring compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements.
Advise on funding rounds, equity plans, and other financial transactions.
Collaborate with management to devise strategies that minimize legal risks and enhance business operations.
Handle any litigation or legal disputes that arise.
Educate and provide training to company staff on compliance and legal issues.
Coordinate with external counsel as needed to ensure comprehensive legal coverage.
Deep understanding of financial law
~8+ years of experience in financial sector
~6+ years of experience with credit/risk management
~4+ years of experience with capital markets, investment banking and/or related field
~ Ability to work remotely and collaborate with different teams across the company
~ Comfortable with working with internal and external senior level executives
~ Ability to independently develop financial models
