Description
The Department of Diagnostic Radiology and Molecular Imaging, Oakland University William Beaumont School of Medicine, Royal Oak Campus, is seeking a fellowship-trained breast imager to join an experienced breast imaging division.
Corewell Health East sees over 1000 new breast cancer cases each year, the largest number in the stateCorewell Health East uses digital breast tomosynthesis capability for screening mammography and is in the process of introducing automated breast ultrasound screening for the appropriate segment of its screening population
A dedicated 3T MRI machine is housed within the breast center.
The group is an active participant in a high-risk breast cancer-screening program, and it also is an integral part of the multidisciplinary breast cancer team that meets weekly.
The breast imaging staff members also teach residents and breast imaging fellows.
