- Responsible for planning, organizing, delegating, directing, negotiating, and evaluating services delivered by the Adult Medical ICU.
- Collaborates closely with other department leadership to ensure nursing care is compliant with recognized standards and best practices.
- Develops and recommends policies, procedures, and programs aimed at improving quality, safety, efficiency, and effectiveness of patient care within the ICU.
- Maintains effective communication among team and with leadership.
- Acts as a quality and regulatory champion within the unit.
- Fosters a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
- At least 2 years of recent (within the last year) acute care leadership experience in Critical Care (preferably in an ICU management role, not charge nurse alone).
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing required; advanced degree preferred.
- Current State of Texas RN license or compact state RN license.
- Current BLS and ACLS certification (AHA or Red Cross).
- CCRN and/or CNRN certification preferred.
- Strong knowledge of care experience tactics, quality improvement, and regulatory compliance.
- Strong focus on patient experience and quality outcomes.
- Collaborative team mindset.
- Experience with regulatory requirements and quality initiatives.

Pay Details: $84,849.00 to $127,274.00 per year
