    About this role:


    The Occupational Therapist role is part of a team of specialists that provide family-centered services that support and enable families to meet their child's individual needs through education, training, and support.

    You will work with families in a hybrid of telehealth and in-person sessions to provide services.

    While working closely and learning from a team of specialists who are experts in children's physical, cognitive, communication, social, emotional, and adaptive development.

    In addition to on-the-job learning, KDC offers professional development activities and training necessary to maintain relevant certifications and licensures.
    Full Time and Part Time Available*Catchment Area - Sandwich to Provincetown In this role, you'll get to:Partner with families to identify each child's strengths and developmental needsTogether develop an Individualized Family Service Plan (IFSP)

    Work closely with a transdisciplinary team on program planning and delivery of servicesOversee case management and referral services to assigned caseloadConduct home visits to provide developmental stimulation, parent training, and supportFacilitate parent/child and/or child groupsComplete reports of assessments, progress reports, IFSPs, and discharge summariesMaintain appropriate communication with physicians, clinics, and community agencies participating in each child's careWe are looking for people who have:
    Bachelor's degree, or higher in Occupational TherapyMust have a valid Massachusetts Occupational Therapy License or the ability to obtainStrong written and verbal communicationExcellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skillsA valid driver's license and reliable transportationThe physical requirements for this role: Frequent movement within classroom including but not limited to kneeling, bending, sitting, lifting, and positioning of students Ability to lift 50 pounds alone, 51+ pounds with the assistance of another person or adaptive equipment Did someone say BENEFITS?
