We are looking for a full time Lead Veterinarian to join our team in Longview, TX. The ideal candidate will have a DVM, be proficient in all aspects of veterinary medicine, and have 2-5 years of experience as an Associate Veterinarian.

The Lead Veterinarian will be responsible for providing medical care to animals, overseeing the work of other veterinary staff, and managing the day-to-day operations of the clinic. The ideal candidate will be a team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities:

• Provide medical care to animals
• Oversee the work of other veterinary staff
• Manage the day-to-day operations of the clinic
• Communicate with clients and ensure their satisfaction
• Maintain accurate records
• Administer medications and treatments
• Perform surgery
• Interpret laboratory results
• Provide preventive care
• Educate clients about pet care

Qualifications:

• DVM
• 2-5 years of experience as an Associate Veterinarian
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
