    Description

    L&W Supply is a prominent distributor of construction materials such as drywall, ceiling tiles, and steel framing, catering to both commercial and residential contractors.     If you are a licensed CDL Driver seeking a fulfilling opportunity with a well-established company, we are interested in hearing from you. As a CDL Driver at L&W Supply, your primary responsibility is to ensure the safe and timely delivery of construction materials to various job sites.

    Key responsibilities for this position include:

    • Operating a delivery vehicle to and from job sites
    • Unloading and stocking building materials as instructed
    • Collaborating with colleagues to handle materials
    • Ensuring the accurate and safe loading of delivery vehicles
    • Adhering to all safety regulations and traffic laws
    • Supervising unloading operations at sites for safe and precise delivery
    • Maintaining site safety during deliveries
    • Distributing building materials as per order specifications
    • Operating specialized equipment when required
    • Ensuring the neat and organized placement of delivered products
    • Performing warehouse tasks as assigned

    Requirements for this role include:

    • Possession of a valid CDL - Class A or B
    • Ability to handle and transport building materials
    • Physical fitness to perform tasks such as lifting, climbing, and bending
    • Capability to lift up to 250 lbs with assistance
    • Experience with flatbed, straight, or drywall boom trucks is advantageous
    • Possession of a crane certification

    Compensation Information

    $27-30 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.
