Job Requirements

• Education Requirements: Completion of accredited radiologic technology program or equivalent.
  
• Certifications Requirements: BLS, ACLS, State license as required, and NIHSS if applicable.
  
• Experience Requirements: Minimum of 3 years of experience in interventional radiology procedures, vascular, and cerebral vascular interventions.
  
• Other Requirements: Ability to operate angiographic equipment competently, perform basic to intermediate diagnostic procedures, and act as a scrub assistant. Strong image processing skills and familiarity with Philips Azurion M20 system preferred.

Job Responsibilities

• Provide advanced interventional radiology procedures, including biopsy, drainage, and vascular interventions, utilizing angiographic equipment.
  
• Assist radiologists during complex IR cases, acting as a scrub assistant and ensuring procedural efficiency and safety.
  
• Operate imaging and digital equipment, ensuring high-quality diagnostic images and proper documentation within EMR systems like EPIC.
  
• Evaluate equipment function and collaborate with technical staff to maintain optimal image quality and safety standards.
  
• Support the clinical team in patient preparation, documentation, and post-procedure care to ensure comprehensive patient management.
