Job Description And Duties
Under close supervision of the Information Officer II in the Media and Strategic Section, the Graduate Student Assistant will serve in a trainee capacity to gain practical experience and acquire knowledge and understanding of the functions, principles, practices, and methods used in the Office of Communications. The Graduate Student Assistant will assist with the performance of a wide variety of professional and technical duties related to the Office.
Working Conditions
This position has been designated as eligible for telework and is currently a remote-centered position. The position may however require in-person attendance when requested. The selected candidate would report to Department of Justice headquarters in Sacramento if/when required to attend mandated in-person meetings, trainings, etc. Expenses related to travel to the office for required events are the responsibility of the employee. All telework schedules are subject to change and may be reevaluated at any time.
