Position Summary InformationJob Description Summary The Biology Instructor will teach General BIO or A&P courses. This individual will be responsible for teaching assignments, maintaining records, and constructing/administering/grading examinations.
Applications for part-time faculty positions are accepted on a continuous basis and reviewed if openings become available.
Part-time faculty are hired on an "as needed" basis and will work for the duration of time specified by the respective course.
A portion of teaching assignment may be evening classes and possibly weekend classes.Faculty are assigned to teach courses using various delivery methods based on the teaching area and the needs of students and the College, which may require a physical presence at the assigned on-site work location.
Depending on department needs each semester, this position will be online or in-person (day or evening classes). Minimum Qualifications 1. Master's Degree or higher in Biology with at least 18 graduate hours in Biology.
Note:
Degrees and hours must be from a college accredited by a US Dept of Education accepted accrediting agency such as SACSCOC.
