    Federal Reserve Bank of ChicagoThis role is responsible for performing complex financial analysis, performance reporting, and collaborating with stakeholders.

    The Senior Financial Analyst also ensures compliance with budget guidance, accounting rules, Federal Reserve System policies and standard operating procedures.

    The level of work required is considered advanced and staff must be able to work under minimal supervision. This job does not have any direct reports.

    Financial Analysis Responsibilities
    Conducts analysis and provides consultation regarding complex budget, revenue, forecast, and accounting data
    Provides independent and complex analytical support to produce performance reporting and executive leadership presentations at the District and System level
    Performs operational tasks for forecasting and accounting functions
    Contributes to the preparation of the budget documents
    Identifies continuous improvement efforts
    Creates and delivers training on accounting and finance related processes, procedures and applications
    May lead and/or participate in high impact/priority workgroups
    Compliance Responsibilities
    Ensures daily operations of core functions are consistent with established policies, procedures and controls
    Provides policy consultation and guidance to stakeholders from analysts to senior executives
    Researches and responds to complex inquiries regarding Federal Reserve System or local Reserve Bank policies
    Your Background
    Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, related field or equivalent experience
    Three or more years of relevant work experience
    Advanced knowledge of finance principles, practices and procedures obtained through education, experience or certification
    Independent thinking and decision making abilities
    Possesses strong communication and presentation skills
    Possesses analytical skills and ability to apply, interpret, and explain complex analysis of financial data
    Demonstrated aptitude to leverage relevant technology and software applications, including ability to create and modify complex spreadsheets
    Excellent attention to detail

    This role is a hybrid work model in Chicago.
