    The Internal Communications Specialist uses design and video software to create visual content for primarily internal audiences, assist with event content creation and coordination, and support channels that engage our Cast in the company's business objectives.

    The Specialist's skills should include video production, graphic design, WordPress Developer builder experience, creativity, organization, and a critical eye for detail.

    The Internal Communications Specialist reports to the Senior Manager of Internal Communications and will assist in the preparation and delivery of integrated communications for all Disney Signature Experiences businesses.

    This is a Project Hire/Internal Assignment with an anticipated end date of September 2025.
    Develop and implement compelling and engaging digital storytelling via assets that inform, engage, and empower Cast and Crew around the globe
    Shoot, and edit professional-quality videos as a solo content creator for long and short-form media
    Design backend intranet sites, email templates, podcasts, and other visual digital assets to support initiatives and business needs
    Assist with the development of visual content to accompany a variety of communication outlets for both internal and external audiences
    Responsible for the creation of high-quality content, including supporting video/photo shoots, and helping with maintaining internal content sites and platforms with relevant and timely information
    Provide videography support for a range of events and programs for DSE Cast and Crew in partnership with the Executive Communications team
    Proactively source and produce content for internal communications vehicles: CastLife, HUB Sites, digital signage, the Disney Cast Life blog, coordination with Disney Experiences (DX) segment/enterprise publications
    Help support content for all Disney Signature Experiences internal digital signage platforms
    Provide support for Cast/Crew events as needed
    2+ years of proven experience in video production, graphic/multimedia design, or marketing communications
    ~ Experience with the full Adobe Creative Suite and other digital communications platforms (ex. Keynote and/or PowerPoint, WordPress)
    ~ Skilled at professional video production, including shooting and editing
    ~ Ability to work on multiple projects under deadline pressure
    ~ Proven ability to handle confidential information
    ~ Availability and willingness to work standard business hours, Monday - Friday, as well as occasional weekend, late night, or early morning hours, as needed

    Thrives in working in a team environment while collaborating with all levels within organizations, including executives
    Effective self-starter with the proven ability to proactively generate and produce content
    Bachelor's degree in Digital/Media Communications, Video Production, Filmmaking, Marketing, Broadcast Journalism, Communications, or a related field
