    Your Impact:

    As a Software Engineer at Genospace, your work will influence individuals and organizations in healthcare. You'll assist patients in finding optimal treatment, aid researchers in leveraging vast data for advancements, support physicians in implementing personalized medicine, and collaborate with labs on advanced analyses.

    What You'll Do:

    • Collaborate in a small team to design, develop, test, and support features in web-based applications
    • Offer feedback to teammates through code and design reviews, contributing to a culture of learning
    • Shape improvements to the engineering process, products, and technology

    Minimum Requirements

    • 2+ years of experience in software development
    • Experience in web application or data processing systems
    • Proficiency in web technologies and at least one programming language
    • Capability in front end, back end, and database technologies
    • Ability to design software to meet requirements and effectively communicate designs
    • Creative problem-solving skills and collaboration expertise

    Additional qualifications:

    • Passion for impacting healthcare and clinical research through technology
    • Commitment to teamwork and a positive attitude
    • Knowledge of technologies like Java, Groovy, Grails, Kafka, Micronaut, MongoDB, Elasticsearch
    • Background in related fields such as healthcare, biology, or genomics

    Education:

    • 4-year degree in computer science, engineering, or STEM field, or equivalent experience
