    Accounting Manager

    This position will be reporting to the Director Finance/Controller of TurbineAero, Inc. and offers a competitive and comprehensive compensation package. The package consists of a base salary, a performance bonus, a 401K plan, Dental/health/Life insurance. We are an Equal Opportunity Employer.

    Accounting Manager Duties:

    • Responsible for the end-to-end financial operations of Aerospace Component manufacturing and repair facilities for 1 business entity or 2 Plant Sites.
    • Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to Daily Billing in accordance with ASC 606, AR/AP Processing, Inventory Control, Cost Control, and Capital Expenditures Mgmt.
    • Own Working Capital Management
    • Engage with vendors & customers to drive collections and resolve disputes.
    • Oversee daily and monthly Inventory activity and cycle counts.
    • Fixed Asset Accounting / Capital Expenditure Request Tracking and Capitalization
    • Manage month-end closing, journal entries, account reconciliations and financial schedule preparation.
    • Develop adhere to procedures and internal controls related to inventory, cost management, material movement, scrap reporting and cost of sales.
    • Review labor charging, reconcile reporting issues and assist in training.
    • Own Department Expenses.
    • Assist in year-end external financial audits.
    • Work collaboratively cross functionally to resolve issues/disputes internally and externally.
    • Act as the liaison between plant functions & the Director of Finance/Controller to ensure all inquiries, opportunities, & performance related issues are handled in a timely manner.
    • Position sees a high volume of transactional work and requires relentless attention to detail, financial accountability, persistence and follow up, and ability to adhere and drive internal controls.
