    Team Rehab is a network of therapist-owned outpatient physical therapy clinics in Michigan, Illinois, Indiana, Wisconsin and Georgia.

    Responsibilities

    Summary:

    The Physical Therapy Technician plays a crucial role in Team Rehabilitation's success by supporting patients in achieving recovery goals and enhancing their health.

    Responsibilities:

    • Assist in delivering top-notch treatment. Essential duties include preparing and reassuring patients for their therapy sessions. 
    • Demonstrate exceptional customer service and provide motivation when needed.
    • Adhere to the prescribed care plan by the therapist for each patient
    • Support therapists with non-clinical duties and assist patients in their therapy progress as needed.
    • Educate patients on equipment usage, ensuring safe and proper utilization.
    • Guide patients through light exercises and strength-building techniques.
    • Aid in applying therapeutic modalities like heat/ice packs and electrical stimulation.
    • Assist patients in safe mobility between areas using proper techniques.
    • Maintain open communication with patients, physicians, team members, and other involved parties, ensuring necessary follow-ups.
    • Cultivate positive and professional relationships with patients and colleagues.
    • Ensure cleanliness and organization of treatment areas, and sanitize equipment after each use.
    • Adhere to all procedures, guidelines, and regulations.
    • Maintain high productivity levels. Monitor and document patient progress or changes for the Physical Therapist. 

    Other Tasks:The Physical Therapy Technician reports to the clinic director and completes additional assignments delegated by the director.



    Qualifications

    • No specific educational background or work experience required
    • Strong active listening and verbal communication abilities needed
    • Preferred candidates will be pursuing a physical therapy or related healthcare degree
