Human Resources | Child Care Program Ohio State's Childcare Center's operating days are Monday through Friday with varied working hours between 6 a.m.

This Early Childhood Educator position is a temporary role to assist in supervising and integrating daily and long-term planning for the classroom in collaboration with support team and other classroom team members; ensures social, emotional, physical, and educational needs of children are met based on Center's philosophy, curriculum policies and state licensing rules; assists in management of classroom by completing paperwork, training, evaluating staff, and problem solving with team and parents to address classroom issues; participates in professional development and on center wide and university teams.

Required Education Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience (= Assoc degree + 2 years of equivalent experience or 4 years equivalent experience); subject to Bureau of Criminal Investigation check; current first aid, communicable disease, and child abuse recognition certification and/or training within 120 days of employment.

Degree with a Major in education-early & middle childhood; Child Development Associate (CDA) certificate is preferred


Additional Information:
Pay range $15 - $19 per hour.
