    About the Position The Supervisor of Investigational Drug Services will provide leadership in the day to day development of efficient pharmacy operations and processes that provide excellence in patient care, patient safety, and adheres to all regulatory rules and requirements.

    This position will also exercise fiscal responsibility in terms of revenue generation and expenses.

    As a Supervisor, you will mentor and train pharmacy residents and interns in addition to closely coordinating, overseeing, and supervising the work performed by the pharmacy residents, students, interns, and technicians.


    In this role, you will dispense and distribute drugs and medicines for patients and advise them of the correct medicine, proper usage, and compliance.

    You will also advise physicians on the inherent danger of drugs and the eventual side effects as you assist them in prescribing the correct doses.

    You will also collaborate with other healthcare professionals in order to plan, monitor, review, and evaluate patients for patient effectiveness, side effects, and drug interactions.

    Requirements

    Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy

    Pharm.
    D. preferred

    Texas Pharmacist License

    May also be eligible and wiling to obtain licensure within 90 days of employment

    5 years of pharmacy experience
    1-2 years of management experience preferred
    Investigational Drug Services to Management experience highly preferred
