    Description

    About The Hercules Project

    The Hercules Project is a large study observing up to 100,000 adults aged 18 or older in the U.S. using whole body MRI (WB-MRI) scans over the next 10 years. Participants will be recruited from multiple clinical sites, they will undergo MRI scans using specialized equipment. Radiologists will assess the images and share results with healthcare providers. Follow-up calls will be made after the initial scan to gather diagnostic outcomes. Optional follow-up scans may occur at 24 and 36 months. Data will be analyzed for sensitivity, specificity, and predictive value. For those with prior diagnoses, comparisons will be made between MRI findings and known conditions. The study aims to evaluate MRI's predictive power for future health issues, considering various factors.

    • The salary range for this position is from $80,000 to $115,000 annually.

    What You'll Do

    • Operation of MRI Scanner: responsible for ensuring patient safety and conducting high-quality Prenuvo Scans, adhering to and staying updated on Prenuvo Scan protocols.
    • Procurement of supplies, maintenance of equipment, and preparation of scan rooms.
    • Troubleshooting equipment problems and escalating issues to the relevant department when needed.
    • Utilize ancillary tools and equipment appropriately: including PACS and other software systems.
    • Image Post Processing: in charge of post-processing images, such as transferring them to PACS and ensuring all post-processing steps are duly completed.
    • Leadership: showcasing the capacity and interest in training new technologists in various aspects of the role, covering patient safety, room setup, effective communication, image capture, time management, and post-processing.

    What You'll Bring

    • A solid foundation in MRI imaging and patient safety.
    • Licensed by the appropriate board: ARMRIT or ARRT (MR) or equivalent, depending on the location of the role applied for.
    • BLS - Basic Life Support certification.
    • Successful completion of an accredited Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) program or radiologic technology program.
    • At least 2 years of clinical work experience.
    • Competency in independently conducting advanced MR studies.
    • Ability to collaborate in a multidisciplinary team and excel in a high-pressure, fast-paced setting.
    • Exhibit patient care skills by simplifying complex medical terms and procedures for non-medical audiences.
    • Openness to acquiring new proficiencies.
    • Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
    • A customer-centric approach and professional demeanor.
    • Take pride in your work and possess a critical eye for assessing image quality.
