    Job Description:

    Position Summary:

    We are looking for students who are passionate about learning about manufacturing and sales of Snacks and Beverages. TreeHouse Foods is looking for qualified sales interns to assist in various areas of sales and operations for the summer of 2024. The intern will complete all tasks assigned by their manager, which may include identifying business opportunities, pulling reports for Customer Business Managers, analyzing key product and customer data, participating in meetings and assisting the Sales department wherever possible. You should be able to take instruction, but also work independently when required.The ideal intern will be proficient in MS Excel. You are a great fit for our team if you have great attention to detail, take direction well, are a self-starter and eager to learn. You'll gain hands-on experience working on challenging, meaningful projects with guidance from a mentor and other members of our team.

    Position Responsibilities:

    • Collaborating with cross-functional departments to create plans to accelerate sales with key customers
    • Analyzing raw data and providing useful insights
    • Updating documents and sales records
    • Reviewing sales performance against sales targets
    • Identifying potential weaknesses and offering process improvement suggestions

    Experience an intern will gain:

    • An understanding of manufacturing and sales in the food industry
    • Training about each category TreeHouse manufactures
    • Exposure to our value-based selling, various systems and processes and opportunities to shadow a leader on our sales team
    • Active participation in projects with the commercial group, establish relationships with peers and leaders, learn fundamentals and receive feedback from your internship manager
    • Multiple opportunities to present to your peers, manager(s), and members of the TreeHouse Foods Senior Leadership Team
    • High-level, but comprehensive understanding of our commercial organization upon completion of your internship

    Qualifications and Requirements:

    • Working on a Bachelor's degree in business or a related field
    • Preferred candidates are rising Seniors – Class of December 2024 or May 2025
    • Self-motivated and good communicator with the ability to communicate with broad groups of people
    • Teams, MS Office, PowerPoint, word, and excel experience/knowledge
