    A BRIEF OVERVIEW
    The primary responsibility of the Strategic Account Manager is to grow the business and manage all commercial activities for the customers they are responsible for. This position will be remote.

    WHAT YOU WILL DO

    • Make sales calls and presentations to potential and existing customers.
    • Build and strengthen relationships with current and prospective customers.
    • Understand the needs of customers and match with Orchids solutions.
    • Follow-up on sales opportunities.
    • Prospect for new customers and follow up on leads regularly.
    • Develop sales proposals to gain new business.
    • Generate quote requests from customers and follow-up internally at Orchid and with customers.
    • Work closely with each Orchid site to respond to customer needs successfully and expeditiously.
    • Work with customers to resolve technical issues.
    • Expand legacy work with customers across all Orchid sites.
    • Identify potential new opportunities to create value for our customers.
    • Review manufacturing processes with customers to identify areas of need/improvement.
    • Understand company performance, goals, and capacity to fill gaps where needed.
    • Attend and work at industry events and exhibitions to represent Orchid and meet with customers and prospects.
    • Keep management informed of developments in the marketplace and among customers and competitors. Identify potential new products/capabilities that would enhance Orchids position in the marketplace.
    • Interact with division Orchid staff to generate new leads, discuss opportunities, and help close sales.
    • Complete duties in weekly which includes but is not limited to: 1. Customer meeting notes 2. Opportunities 3. Lead follow-up 4. Quote follow-up 5. Market intelligence
    • Participate in strategic and tactical commercial team meetings.
    • Participate in training activities which include meetings, reading, team discussions, seminars and corporate training.
    • Complete travel arrangements.
    • Utilize company resources efficiently and responsibly (money, time, tools, etc.).
    • Complete expense reports monthly.

    EDUCATION QUALIFICATIONS

    • Bachelor's in business, Engineering, Marketing. or related field (Preferred)

    EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS

    • 5+ Years of experience in sales or account management within the orthopedic or medical device manufacturing industry. (Required)
    • Experience in managing strategic accounts and achieving sales targets. (Required)
    • Experience in complex solution selling (Required)
    • Experience establishing relationships with key clients and a history of nurturing and expanding those relationships over time (Preferred)
    • Experience navigating complex negotiations to achieve favorable terms and agreements for both parties (Preferred)

    PAY RATE

    For positions located in California, pay for this job type falls within the following range and varies based on scope and complexity of job responsibilities.

    $97, $172,900.00
