    We are currently seeking a talented **Housekeeping Aide** responsible for performing standorized cleaning assignements and maintaining a clean, safe and friendly environment.

    The successful candidate will be responsible to perform the following:

    **Technical Competencies:**

    Ability to maintain assigned areas in a clean, sanitary and orderly condition.

    Knowledge of common housecleaning devices such as, but not limited to, vacuums, mops, etc.

    Knowledge of Laurel Circles standard cleaning procedures.

    **Detailed Daily Duties:**

    Scour and polish sinks, showers, bathtubs, tiles and other household fixtures.

    Dry and wet mop floors.

    Vacuum carpets.

    Clean and dust furniture, walls, etc.

    Empty trash, refill soap, towels and tissue dispensers, as well as change linens as needed.

    ****Additional Duties:****

    Help transport items through Laurel Circle.

    Maintain equipment, utility rooms and storage areas in a clean and safe manner and report to their supervisor if these conditions are not met.

    Assist with set-up and clean-up after events in Laurel Circle.

    All other duties as assigned by their supervisor.

    High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required

    Three to six months experience in housekeeping or janitorial position required

    Proficiency in the English language enabling the employee to read, write, comprehend and communicate simple instructions, correspondence, memos, etc.

    Many roles in the community may require that we ask about your vaccination status. This could include MMR, chicken pox, hepatitis, flu and COVID-19 vaccine status. Please note that all employees are required to provide proof of COVID-19 vaccination, or apply for and receive an approved exemption, as a condition of employment.
