    Electrical Maintenance Specialist 2nd Shift

    We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Maintenance Specialist to join our team at ABB.

    This is a position with grade 17 and reports to the Engineering Manager.

    Your Role and Responsibilities:

    • Conduct activities according to agreed maintenance guidelines and procedures.
    • Increase the overall efficiency of equipment and production lines by utilizing your expertise.
    • Mainly accountable for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical control, wiring, and lighting systems.
    • Troubleshoot electrical issues using appropriate testing devices.
    • Troubleshoot and program PLCs on Industrial Production Equipment.
    • Repair and replace electrical equipment, wiring, and components in Industrial Production Equipment.

    Team Dynamics:

    You will be part of a dynamic, talented, high-performing team where you can thrive.

    Qualifications:

    • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
    • Electrician Certificate or Degree from a Trade School or College preferred.
    • Eight years' experience as a Certified Maintenance Electrician preferred.
    • Journeyman Electrician qualification.
    • Knowledge of NFPA 70E; OSHA Safety Standards; NEC - National Electric Code.
    • Industrial Electrician with blue print reading skills, PLC, and electronics knowledge.
