    Director of Marketing, B2B (Direct Hire)

    The Sage Group is seeking a Director of Marketing for our client, the market leading provider of inspection, engineering, quality, and risk management services to residential builders. Founded in 1988 and headquartered in Houston, TX, they are the "go-to" consultancy for the nation's largest homebuilders. The biggest and most innovative builders rely on their expert industry and regional practice knowledge to mitigate to create happy homeowners across the country We are seeking a hybrid leader/individual contributor who can leverage a broad Marketing tool set to accelerate our growth and brand reputation, while providing support to company management in the development and launch of new service, industry and product lines across our family of companies. Reporting to the SVP National Sales and Business Development (with additional reporting to CEO), the successful candidate will be a great storyteller who can synthesize data into clear, concise, and compelling value driven insights that inspire action through powerfully engaging narratives. If you have 8+ years' experience in integrated B2B marketing program planning, development and execution, please apply. Construction or prior Professional Services industry marketing experience is a plus.     • Develop a deep understanding of the market and customer challenge areas
    • Envision and execute marketing strategies that differentiate us and support growth by understanding, marketing and selling the business value we create for our clients
    • Synthesize data into clear, concise, and compelling value driven insights that inspire action through powerfully engaging narratives and case studies
    • Ensure brand adhesion across existing standards and guidelines while driving efforts to improve look, feel and accessibility
    • Spearhead strategic partnership efforts, supporting and promoting business development and thought leadership across the portfolio
    • Assist in building internal comms tools to aid recruiting, retention, and the integration of companies within the portfolio, with a focus toward developing a pipeline of "brand ambassadors"
    • Collaborate with and support Management in the development of new service, industry, and product marketing content
    • Team with Sales to develop account-based marketing journeys that differentiate us across the customer lifecycle
    Requirements:
    • 8-10+ years' B2B experience in integrated marketing program planning, development and execution; ideally 5+ years within a value-focused Service industry
    • Desire to partner with sales and associate success with the impact to the bottom line of the company
    • Zeal for learning and adapting new marketing concepts, processes and technologies to help advance the organization and specific strategies
    • Proven experience analyzing quantitative and qualitative data
    • Strong writing skills with the ability to leverage data insights and adapt technical concepts into customer friendly, value-based messaging
    • Project management experience, including management of vendor and agency relationships
    • Strong partnership and relationship building skills. A Team player with a strong work ethic who demonstrates considerable tact, diplomacy, discretion and judgment
    • Construction or prior Professional Services industry marketing experience is nice to have
    • MBA a plus
