- Receive assignments from physicians and schedule appointments for patients.
- Receive patients, explain procedures, check vital signs and administer therapy, monitor reactions, and report to physicians.
- Deal with emergencies (with outside assistance) if required.
- Provide infusion treatments such as hydration, blood and blood components, and administering drugs and solutions.
- Keeps records for physicians and billing purposes.
- RN with state license required.
- At least three years of clinical experience including training in infusion therapy.
- (Preferred) Oncology experience, but will train the right person.
- Team player, able to work well with physicians.
- Strong critical thinking, organized, and punctual.
- Able to work independently.
- Organized manner to maintain schedule and generate reports in a timely fashion.
- Reassuring manner to deal with patients of all ages.
