- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients who evidence the full range of disorders described in the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders.
- Conduct psychological assessment of patients with a wide variety of known or suspected psychological disorders that affect intellectual, cognitive, behavioral or emotional functioning.
- Provide staffing for clinical cases, including in emergency consultation and crisis scenarios.
- Function as an authoritative source of information regarding the use, selection, and interpretation of psychological tests, and oversee, administer, and interpret appropriate psychological tests.
- Conduct individual and group short-term therapy sessions, including psychoeducational sessions, using expert knowledge and therapeutic techniques.
- Review and approve the appropriate modality of each patient; develop treatment plans; evaluate overall effectiveness of therapeutic efforts using both objective and subjective measures, instituting changes as needed.
- Provide expert oversight of training in diagnosis and treatment to certified and intern counselors in the Department.

Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune, home of expeditionary forces in readiness, is a warfighting platform from which our Marines and Sailors train, operate, launch and recover while providing facilities, services and support that meet the needs of our warfighters and their families.
As a Clinical Psychologist you will:
US Citizenship required
One year experience as a Clinical Psychologist
Doctoral Degree (Ph.D. or equivalent) directly related to full professional work in clinical psychology.
A current, active, valid, and unrestricted clinical license to practice Psychology independently from a U.S. State, the District of Columbia, Commonwealth, territory, or jurisdiction is required.
Candidates will have completed an American Psychological Association (APA) accredited doctoral graduate program and an APA accredited predoctoral internship.
