    Job Description


    American Traveler is seeking a Mammography Technologist with 2+ years of experience, ARRT, BLS, CRT, and California state licensure for a travel assignment.

    Responsibilities

    • Work in a dedicated mammography center with possible floating to additional breast center locations
    • Participate in mobile mammography van serving various Bay Area sites, with pickup and drop-off at a central location
    • Day shift schedule with Monday through Friday, 8:30 am to 5 pm
    • Rotating weekend coverage required, including one Saturday per month with Monday off
    • 5x8 hour shifts with start times varying slightly for mobile shifts
    • Expected to float between assigned facilities within scope of practice
    • Duties include performing screening and diagnostic mammograms using standard and mobile equipment
    • Return staff must have a minimum one-year separation before returning in a traveler capacity
    • Only one holiday time-off request will be approved during the assignment
    • Candidates must be available for lab work within 3-5 days of contract signing
    • Professional dress required per facility policy

    Requirements

    • Minimum of 2 years of mammography technologist experience required
    • Current ARRT, BLS, and CRT certifications required
    • California State Mammography Licensure required
    • Graduate of an approved school of Radiologic Technology required
    • Must meet 50-mile radius rule for eligibility
    • Must have required California license; license required if applicable
