MRG Exams, a leading provider of independent medical examinations, is seeking a part-time Optometrist to conduct comprehensive eye exams for United States Veterans as part of the VA's SHA process. The Optometrist's role will involve reviewing medical records via a secure Web Portal, performing eye exams for veterans, and completing necessary forms online.

• The Optometrist will NOT make determinations; all decisions will be made by the VA.
• This is strictly an assessment role, not involved in treatment.
• On average, this role will assess 3-6 Veterans daily.
• This position is for a 1099 Independent Contractor working 1 day per week.

Requirements:

• Interest in conducting eye exam assessments over traditional patient care.
• Ability to analyze data from records and exam results to form medical opinions.
• Forms must be submitted within 24 hours post-exam.
• Passion for serving Veterans in the local community.
• Demonstrated strong written and verbal communication skills.

Qualifications:

• Current Optometrist license in the State of examination.
• Proficient in Visual Field Testing (VFT).
