    Description
    Title: Press Operator

    Reports to: Production Supervisor

    Job Purpose: Responsible for operating hand operated metal stamping presses and other duties required in the Assembly department.

    Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
    • The press operator must review the job traveler and part drawings to verify that the parts are manufactured accurately.
    • Perform all necessary quality checks during production to guarantee that the parts are produced to the specified dimensions and in accordance with all requirements.
    • Maintains an orderly, clean, and safe work environment using 6S guidelines and safety standards.
    • Complies with all environmentally safe practices and regulations.
    • Complete all job-related paperwork and production reporting to accurately record part quantity and scrap.
    • Operates material handling equipment including pallet jacks to move raw materials and parts as needed.
    • Previous experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
    • Must be able to lift 25 lbs., stand for long periods of time, and perform repetitive motions.
    • Must be able to follow all safety and quality procedures.
