    Practice Fusion is hiring a talented engineering manager, passionate about creating life-saving technology for doctors and patients. This role combines hands-on technical contributions and people management. You will be planning, developing, deploying and releasing solutions in a cloud-based environment using an agile development process. You will help develop people for the long term, recruiting, training, promoting and advocating for your direct reports.

    Responsibilities:

    Architect and lead development of technical solutions that are secure, robust, performant, and scalable

    Employ technical and thought leadership to drive products from inception to release

    Work with stakeholders to ensure the solution meets business needs

    Write correct, well-factored code that is testable and maintainable, and that demonstrates best practices

    Balance engineering costs of development, testing, deployment complexity, and run-time cost, to deliver optimum value for the business and customers

    Responsible for people development, resource management and enhancing overall productivity

    Identify and recruit internal/external talents to ensure effective mix of competencies

    Set and communicate team/individual objectives and KPIs to inspire individuals to achieve high performance

    Implement development plans and coach individuals to reach their maximum talent

    Provide regular constructive feedback on performance/development and address performance issues in a timely manner

    Recognize high performers to maintain motivation and retain key talent

    Qualifications:

    Bachelors or Masters Degree in Computer Science, or equivalent work experience

    Exceptional communication skills

    Experience:

    12+ years of significant hands-on experience in specific areas of competence such as web service/API development (C#/.NET), database
