    An outstanding,

    full-time

    opening has become available in the

    Louisville, KY area

    for an individual with 10+ years' experience as a

    Purchasing Director

    with a background in

    the Commercial Construction industry . This position would earn a

    generous six-figure base salary

    and a

    loaded benefits package

    including medical benefits, a 401K w/ matching, Short/Long Term Disability, Life insurance, PTO and other outstanding perks.


    Some key responsibilities include:
    Negotiate/evaluate vendor/supplier relationships to optimize terms and costs.

    Forecast price and market trends to identify changes of balance in buyer-supplier power.

    Perform cost and scenario analysis, and benchmarking to assess/mitigate potential supplier and vendor risk.

    Manage 5-10 direct reports across departments.

    Evaluate procedures and systems including auditing compliance and developing KPI metrics/tracking, and reporting

    e xperience in a

    Department Managing/Director level

    Experience

    managing the supply chain/purchasing activities for multiple projects/locations/divisions in the US

    is a

    Previous experience

    developing, implementing, monitoring, and auditing supply chain strategies

    that optimize the efficiency of supply operations is a


    MUST
    Experience

    evaluating procedures and systems

    including auditing compliance and developing KPI metrics/tracking, and reporting is a

    Experience
