    JOB DESCRIPTION:
    • Financial planning for individual retirement, business owners and professionals.
    • Oversee annual/quarterly administration and investment committee meetings.
    • Give advice and answer questions about compliance.
    • Help employees select their 401(k) investments and provide them with 1:1 financial advice.
    • Broad knowledge of investment products including equities, fixed income, cash and alternative investments.
    • Customer service on assigned accounts; including consultation on design and administration of products, conversion of plans, employee education programs, performance reviews and retention of business.
    • Retain existing relationships and add on to current relationships by identifying investment issues and concerns, establishing client's risk tolerance, establishing long and short term financial goals, verifying satisfactory service levels, consulting on expectations with an active call program. Seek to expand the relationship to other family members, contingent beneficiaries, etc. by identifying business opportunities through periodic contact with those individuals.
    • Participate in training and educational opportunities.
    Required for this position: Excellent customer service and problem resolution skills. Strong attention to detail, understanding of 401k plans, business development experience, advanced organizational skills, ability to work under deadlines, independent thinking, analytical skills, self-motivation, strong oral and written communication skills, and demonstrated teamwork.

    EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
    • 4 year college degree or related work experience
    • Accuracy and meticulous attention to detail required
    • Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills
    • Ability to navigate multiple computer systems and programs with working knowledge of Word and Excel
    • Ability to manage multiple requests simultaneously, meet deadlines, and show flexibility to change direction when needed
    • Team-oriented and the ability to work collaboratively across all levels of the organization
    • Service-oriented, polite, and respectful
    • Advanced problem-solving and analytical skills
    • Ability to take direction and instruction and follow through independently until project completion
    HOURS:

    Regular business hours, Monday through Friday. Some overnight and day travel.
