- Greet and assist patients and visitors entering the Emergency Department (ED).
- Greet and answer telephone calls in a professional manner, take messages, relay messages in an appropriate and timely fashion.
- Electronically record and document the temperature of all visitors entering the ED for treatment.
- Utilize Health Bridge (electronic medical record system) to generate patients visits and schedule appointments.
- Act as a liaison to the Department of Nursing and the Registrar Office (Patient Access).
- Protect patients' rights by maintaining confidentiality of medical, personal, and financial information.
- Maintain operations by following hospital policies and procedures, and departmental protocols.
- Contribute to the ED team effort by accomplishing results as needed.
- Complete other duties as assigned/required.
