As we continue to expand, we are seeking a dedicated Fleet Supervisor to join our team and oversee the maintenance, operations, and compliance of our fleet.

    Position Overview:
    As the Fleet Supervisor specializing in vans and DOT vehicles, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our transportation fleet. You will be responsible for managing a team of drivers, coordinating vehicle maintenance schedules, ensuring compliance with DOT regulations, and optimizing fleet efficiency. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in fleet management, organization skills, strong leadership skills, effective communications skills, and an understanding of DOT regulations.

    Responsibilities:
    • Oversee the daily operations of the fleet, including scheduling, dispatching, and monitoring vehicle performance.
    • Manage a team of drivers, providing guidance, training, and support as needed.
    • Coordinate regular maintenance and repairs for vans and DOT vehicles to ensure optimal performance and safety.
    • Ensure compliance with all DOT regulations, including driver qualifications, vehicle inspections, and record-keeping.
    • Develop and implement strategies to optimize fleet efficiency, minimize downtime, and reduce operating costs.
    • Monitor fuel usage, mileage, and other performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.
    • Investigate accidents or incidents involving fleet vehicles and implement corrective actions as necessary.
    • Maintain accurate records of vehicle maintenance, inspections, and repairs.
    • Collaborate with other departments to meet transportation needs and support company objectives.

    Qualifications:
    • 3+ years of experience in fleet management, with a focus on vans and DOT vehicles.
    • Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and compliance requirements.
    • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
    • Ability to prioritize tasks, solve problems, and make decisions in a fast-paced environment.
    • Proficiency in fleet management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
    • Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
    • CDL (Commercial Driver's License) is preferred but not required.
